01The agreement
These terms cover this website, the Request Service form, My Equipment, and the texts and emails we send. By using the site, sending a request or opting in to messages, you accept them. The work itself (the repair, the installation, the plan) is governed by the written quote you approve, and by these terms where the quote is silent.
02Who we are
"Cloud 9 AC Services" is the trade name of Cloud 9 A/C Services LLC, a Florida limited liability company in Winter Garden, FL. Where these terms say "we" or "us", that's who they mean. We're a Florida state-certified air-conditioning contractor. Florida licence CAC1820983.
04Requests and scheduling
Sending the form is a request for service, and it doesn't book an appointment by itself. We respond within the hour with a real time, and the job is booked when we've agreed that time with you. Emergency calls are answered until 11 PM; if it's an emergency, calling is faster than the form.
If you need to cancel or move an appointment, tell us as early as you can, by phone or by replying to the confirmation text. We'll do the same for you.
If we arrive at the agreed time and can't get to the equipment (nobody home, no way onto the roof or into the closet), we'll try to reach you and reschedule. A repeat trip for the same reason may be charged as a visit.
05Quotes, approval and the work
Before any work beyond the diagnosis, you get a written quote: what we found, what we recommend, and what it costs. Work starts when you approve it in writing, by text, or in My Equipment, and we do what the quote says. If we find something on the job that changes the quote, we stop and tell you before we go on.
If there's a charge for the diagnostic visit, we tell you about it when you book, so it's never a surprise at the door.
On the job we need access to the equipment, the electrical panel, and the attic or roof as the work requires, and someone over 18 at a home while we're there. We leave the work area the way we found it, or cleaner.
06Invoices and payment
Invoices are sent by text or email with a link, and can be paid online by card or bank transfer, or by any other method we agree with you. Payment is due on completion unless the quote says otherwise; commercial accounts with agreed terms pay on those terms.
The online payment page belongs to our payment platform and its processor, and your card details go to them instead of to us. The Privacy policy explains how that works.
If an invoice goes unpaid, we may hold further scheduled work, including plan visits, until it's settled. We may also recover what Florida law allows for collecting it.
07What's covered
Whatever we stand behind on a job is written on your quote and your invoice, and those documents govern over this page. Equipment carries its manufacturer's coverage, which is the manufacturer's to honour under its own conditions; where you ask us to, we register it for you.
08Maintenance plans
A maintenance plan is a separate agreement. Its visits, what each visit includes, what it covers and how it's billed are described on the plans page and confirmed when you sign up; that confirmation is the agreement. A plan runs, renews and ends as that agreement says.
09My Equipment
My Equipment is our customer portal, run on the Fusion Payments platform. It shows you your equipment, your service history, your quotes and your invoices, and lets you approve work and pay. Your sign-in is yours, so keep it to yourself and tell us if you think someone else has it. Keep the contact details on the account current: the confirmation text goes to the number on file. We can close an account that's used to abuse the service, and you can ask us to close yours at any time.
10Texts
We run a customer-care texting program: booking confirmations, on-the-way notices, notes when a quote or an invoice is ready, receipts, and replies to your requests. It isn't a marketing program, and agreeing to it is never a condition of hiring us.
You opt in by checking the texting box on the Request Service form (it isn't pre-checked), by asking for texts when we book your job by phone or in person, or by texting START to our number. Message frequency varies with your job. Message and data rates may apply.
Reply STOP to any message to stop; you'll get one confirmation and nothing further. Reply HELP for help, or call (407) 558-0461. Delivery is subject to carrier transmission and isn't guaranteed, and mobile carriers aren't liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Supported carriers may change without notice.
Mobile information is handled under our Privacy policy. In particular, no mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes, and text messaging originator opt-in data and consent will not be shared with any third parties.
11Reviews on this site
The reviews on this site are reproduced from our public Google listing, in the reviewer's own words, shown with a first name and an initial. None of them was paid for. If you wrote one and would rather it weren't here, tell us and it comes down.
12This site's content
The words, photos, design and code of this site belong to Cloud 9 A/C Services LLC or to the people who licensed them to us. Read it, link to it, quote it with credit. Don't republish it or pass it off as yours. Automated retrieval of these pages for lawful compliance, regulatory or carrier-vetting review is fine; bulk copying for anything else isn't.
13Using the site
Don't use the site or the form to send spam, submit false requests, probe or disrupt our infrastructure, or break any law. We can block traffic that does.
14The website as-is, and limits of liability
The website is provided as-is and as-available. To the fullest extent Florida law allows, Cloud 9 A/C Services LLC makes no promise about the website itself and isn't liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages arising from your use of it. This section is about the website. The work we do at your property is governed by your quote, these terms and Florida law, and nothing here limits a liability that can't lawfully be limited.
15Other people's sites
When we link out to another site, such as Google, a manufacturer or our payment platform, that site's own terms and policies apply there instead of ours.
16Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Venue for any dispute about this website or these terms is Orange County, Florida.
